Coast Guard Bases are shore-based facilities that provide logistical, administrative, and operational support to Coast Guard units, such as cutters, boats, and air stations. Acting as regional hubs, Bases maintain personnel and provide medical/dental, housing, MWR, galley services,. They also serve as platforms and provide support for maritime safety, security, ATON, and search & rescue missions.

surgeon. CAPT Fox passed away in 2012 on his 93rd birthday.
